What GPU Power Cable Does My Friend Need for His New 2080?

Hey everyone! My friend recently had a mishap with his MSI 4060 GPU (let's not get into the details), and he was luckily gifted an EVGA 2080 from a colleague. The issue is that his PSU (a Corsair RM750e from 2023) doesn't have enough cables to power this new GPU. He has a 6-pin cable that fits one of the slots on the GPU, but there's also an 8-pin slot that needs a connection. Can anyone help us figure out what kind of cable he needs to buy? It would really help if you could link to a product too. I'm familiar with building PCs, but this is a bit outside my usual experience, and since we're based in the UK, that might influence your suggestions! Thanks in advance!

Your friend's GPU should come with two regular GPU power cables, each having a combination of 6/8 pin connectors. If those are missing, search for "Corsair Type 4 PCIe" cables to find replacements that will work with the PSU. Just double-check that the cables are indeed compatible with his Corsair model.

He was just given the GPU with no extra cables. Is there a specific Type 4 PCIe cable he should look for? I found several on different sites, and I'm worried about getting the wrong one since he's already had one GPU fail.
