Hey everyone! I'm a fan of Battlefield 3 and 4 from the UK, and I'm getting excited about the new Battlefield 6. I'm planning to build a PC with a Ryzen 7500F processor, but I'm stuck trying to figure out which GPU to go with. I want to play BF6 at ultra settings in 1440P with over 100 FPS. I worry that the RX 9060XT 16GB might not cut it. However, I need your thoughts on whether the RX 9070XT or the RTX 5070TI are worth the extra cash. Would they handle 4K gaming well? I'm okay with upscaling if it works well.
I've also considered picking up a cheap second-hand card like a GTX 1060 to start with and wait for hardware prices to drop after the holidays. Do GPU prices in the UK typically fall during Black Friday or Christmas?
I've read that the RTX 5070TI has better AI performance compared to the RX 9070XT. Coming from a CAD and 3D printing background, my knowledge of programming is limited to just using chatGPT. Is the AI performance thing really something a regular user would benefit from, or is it more of a niche aspect?
Lastly, I want to know about the differences between DLSS 4 and FSR 4.0. Is FSR really that bad? And how is AMD performing with ray tracing these days? Should I go for overclocking, and what brand do you recommend?

From what I've seen, the RX 9060XT should handle Battlefield 6 just fine! If you're not into building AIs or running your own models, AI performance isn't likely to matter much to you. As for FSR 4, it does the job, and BF6 will support it! Honestly, my advice is just to grab the cheapest GPU you can find; brand and overclocking aren’t huge deals depending on your needs.
I'm in the same situation, but I'm leaning toward the RTX 5070TI. The price is high since it's my first build in nearly a decade, but I think it's worth investing now to avoid future upgrade hassles. I'd rather pay a bit more upfront than keep reinvesting later on.

Absolutely! Longevity is a concern for me too with the 9060XT. I mean, the gap from GTX9 to GTX10 was huge, and game requirements just keep climbing. A 9070XT is essentially worth double the 9060XT in performance. I'm just worried about when to upgrade next, ya know?
