I've been using a pre-built PC with an AMD Ryzen 5600G processor that has integrated Radeon Graphics. I'm thinking about upgrading with a dedicated GPU and came across the 'Gaming GeForce RTX 3050 8GB'. I want to know if this is a good choice or if there are better options available. What do you think?

The RTX 3050 is getting a bit outdated, to be honest. If you're looking for something stronger, consider the RX 7600. It'll give you much better performance, but your final choice should also depend on your budget and the games you want to run.

I hear you! But what if I just want to play some competitive FPS games at a decent frame rate?

There are a lot of GPUs that outperform the RTX 3050. It really depends on what games you're into and how much you're willing to spend. What kind of games are you planning to play?

For your Ryzen 5600G, the ASUS Dual Radeon RX 7600 is often recommended as one of the top mid-range options. It's quite popular and efficient for what you're looking for.

Honestly, before choosing, think about what games you'll be running and at what settings. The RTX 3050 is decent for casual gameplay, but if you're aiming for smoother gameplay in titles like Warzone, you'll definitely want a stronger GPU. What games are you looking to run?
