What GPU should I get to replace my dead 2060 Super?

My 2060 Super just died, and I'm looking for a replacement. My current setup includes a Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB of RAM, and a 600W PSU. I mainly use my PC to stream games to my Steam Deck, and I'm not sure how much I should spend on a new graphics card. Should I consider something more affordable since my current use is just streaming at 800p, or should I invest in something like a 5060 Ti 16GB or a 5070 for future upgrades? The 5070 fits my budget, but I'd hate to overspend if it won't benefit me significantly right now, especially with the Steam Deck 2 on the horizon. Any advice?

Don't forget, Black Friday deals are coming up! That might help you snag a solid GPU at a better price. In the meantime, the 9060 XT 16GB is good if you're looking for something new and sensible for streaming.

Honestly, it seems like a tough time to buy a GPU. If you're looking for something worthwhile, I found used 2070s to be a good value, especially for your CPU. Don’t go crazy on a new card just yet.

Given your setup, a 5070 might be a good choice, but it really depends on when you're planning to upgrade the rest of your system. If it's within the next couple of years, you could future-proof yourself a bit.

Probably not until something else breaks or my CPU really struggles with new games.

If you're just streaming, you might not need something super high-end. A used 3060 12GB could be a sweet spot if you can find one. It's decent for the current setup without breaking the bank.

Consider what games you play! For esports games, a 9060 XT 8GB should be more than enough. If you're into AAA titles, you might want to look for something with more VRAM, as some of those can be demanding. Just keep in mind that ray tracing will require even more VRAM.

I mainly play indie games on my Steam Deck and anything else that can't run on it, so mainly AAA games. Competitive games aren't really my thing.
