Hey everyone! I'm currently using an RTX 2060, but I'm finding it tough to keep up with newer games. I'm considering an upgrade, but I feel a bit lost with all the options out there. I mainly game at 1080p and would love to run recent titles at high to ultra settings, aiming for a stable frame rate of at least 144 fps, ideally reaching around 200 fps in most cases. I'm looking at the RX 7800 XT with 16 GB, which is priced around €550-600. Is there a more affordable GPU I should consider, or should I stick with something like the Nvidia 4060 in the same price range? I've heard the 7800 XT is solid, but I'm not sure how it stacks up against other options or if it's worth that price tag.

It can be tricky to recommend a GPU without knowing where you are, since prices vary by region. Since you're in Belgium, you might find some decent deals on second-hand GPUs as well. The RX 7800 XT is a great card, especially if you're looking for high performance at 1080p. If you're open to alternatives, keep an eye on the RTX 4060—it might offer some good price-to-performance value if you can find it cheaper. Just make sure to check benchmarks that match your gaming preferences!
Totally agree! The 4060 could be a good mid-range option, especially if you're focusing on newer titles. Just check if it meets your fps goals, too.
