I recently had a mishap where my GPU, a 3070, burned out after I accidentally left my computer on overnight. I'm currently going through some financial difficulties, so I don't need a high-end card right away. However, I'd like to find a good value graphics card that matches or surpasses the performance of my old 3070. I've been out of the loop on GPUs for a while, so I'm seeking recommendations on the best options available right now.

If you're on a tighter budget, the B580 might seem appealing at $250, but keep in mind it's a downgrade from the 3070. If you can stretch your budget a bit, I'd recommend either the RTX 5060 Ti or the RX 9060 with 16GB. They both provide better value compared to sticking with 8GB options.
Leaving your PC on overnight isn't really a dumb move—lots of people do it and years ago it was common for miners to run 3070s 24/7 without issues. Don't beat yourself up about it; sometimes hardware just fails. As for alternatives to the 3070, there are few solid options now, but look into the RX 9060 XT. It offers better performance and is often around $370 which seems decent.
Totally agree! The RX 9060 XT's a solid choice with good performance for the price.
Honestly, I’ve been looking at the RX 9060 XT 16GB too; the specs are solid, especially for gaming. If VRAM is a concern for you in the future, definitely lean toward the 16GB version. And don't worry too much about leaving your system on—that’s usually not the main cause for failure on older graphics cards.
Thanks! There's just so much to consider, but knowing I can upgrade to something that won't limit me on VRAM is helpful!

But does the B580 really give you what you need? I'd personally save a bit longer for something closer to what you had.
