What Graphics Card Should I Choose for My 4K Monitor?

I've recently got a 4K/120Hz monitor from work that I'm using with my personal PC, and I'm looking for the best graphics card to pair with it. I'm currently running an Intel i7-13700K CPU and a 3060, which is okay but not great for 4K gaming. Since I now have a bigger budget, I'd like to stick with Nvidia and get something under $1000. I've been eyeing the ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5070 Ti for around $869. Is this a good choice, or should I consider upgrading to a 5080 or even look at the 40 series cards? Any advice would be appreciated! Also, my PSU is an RM850, 80 Gold.

Don't sweat it about having a 3060; it served you well! For 4K gaming, just grab the best GPU you can afford. Even high-end cards like the RTX 5090 can struggle to hit 120fps on ultra settings without some form of upscaling. Just make sure your PSU has the power to keep up!

I hear you! I’ve been through the same thing. By the way, is your RM850 PSU enough for whatever card you choose?
