I accidentally unplugged the power supply cable from my PC while it was on. Will this cause any damage to my computer? I was just using Firefox at the time, and when I plugged the cable back in and turned it on, everything seemed fine, including my open tabs.

Generally, your PC should be okay. Most of the time, it doesn’t lead to significant issues unless your computer was actively writing something to the hard drive at the moment. If that was the case, it could result in corrupted data. Since it restarted without a hitch, you likely dodged any serious problems this time.
It’s usually not a big deal if it happens once, but regularly doing it can lead to problems. For example, if your PC was in the middle of installing an update, unplugging it could cause it to fail to boot properly afterward. Just be cautious to avoid this in the future.
In my experience, I’ve had to unplug frozen computers before with no issues. While it's not ideal, a one-off instance like yours is likely to be fine as long as nothing critical was being saved. Just keep an eye on things and you should be good!
