Hey everyone! I've got a RX 7600 XT with a R5 7600 setup in my farmhouse. Lately, I've been playing games like STALKER 2 and BLACK MYTH: WUKONG at max settings (1080p) with Frame Generation on, but I'm not really noticing any differences that others seem to complain about. Some reviewers say it makes games feel laggy, but I just finished Elden Ring on high settings with Frame Generation and it felt smooth to me. I'm curious, what exactly is Frame Generation? When I play with it, I get around 80 FPS with the settings cranked up, but around 50 FPS without it. It seems to enhance my gaming experience, so I'm looking for some clarifications! Thanks!

If it works fine for you, there’s no harm in using it. Sure, it might not be perfect for everyone, but it sounds like you're definitely benefiting from it! Some games handle it better than others, so keep experimenting!
Honestly, Frame Generation isn't as bad as some people make it out to be. It can be pretty smooth, especially for casual gaming. If it feels good to you, just keep using it and ignore the naysayers!
Totally agree! I think the complaints come from folks who are super sensitive about input delays. If it works for you, why change it?
Frame Generation can feel floaty, like you’re moving through syrup, especially if you’re used to high refresh rates. But if you don't feel it, that's awesome! Just test it out to see what you personally prefer.
Yeah, I think your FPS makes a big difference in how noticeable the lag is. If you have a solid frame rate, go for it!
Frame Generation basically creates frames between the actual frames, which can lead to some added latency. It's noticeable in certain situations, particularly in competitive games. But, like you said, if you’re enjoying the gameplay and it feels smooth, it’s all good!
Exactly! I've played with it, and if my FPS is good, I hardly notice any input delay.

Right? I hate when tech reviewers complain about every little thing. Just play what feels good!
