Hey everyone, I'm looking to try out a new Linux distribution but I'm really undecided this time. I've heard a lot about options like Arch Linux, Cachy OS, Debian, and others. I'm searching for a distro that strikes a good balance between being customizable, fun to explore, and stable enough for daily use. I've had good things said about Arch and Cachy, but I could really use some advice on what might suit me best. What do you recommend?

If you're after something reliable and smooth, I'd suggest looking into Mint, Fedora, or Cachy. They work well out of the box, so they’re great for daily use. Personally, I enjoy KDE for my desktop setup, and Gnome is fantastic on laptops.
I'd steer clear of Arch and Cachy if you want something calm and stable. They're designed for more hands-on users who enjoy tinkering frequently. Debian, on the other hand, is the epitome of stability—definitely worth considering!
I jumped into Linux not too long ago and after trying Ubuntu and Mint, I found that Fedora Desktop Edition really clicked for me. I recommend checking out some beginner-friendly videos on YouTube to help with the transition. It's been a smooth ride!
As a newcomer, I’ve tried a handful of distros like Mint, Zorin, CachyOS, Debian, MX Linux, and Ubuntu over the past couple of months. I found MX Linux to be the best—it installed smoothly and boots up quickly. Debian (Trixie) with KDE Plasma is my second favorite.
