I'm transitioning from Windows to Linux and need some advice on selecting the right distro for my needs. I'll primarily be playing single-player and RPG games on Linux, but I'll also use it for daily activities like streaming movies and browsing the web. I plan to dual boot my PC with Windows, as I need it for online gaming with friends. I have a 2TB HDD that I want to share between both operating systems for storing movies and anime, but I'm unsure what format to use since I've heard NTFS might cause issues on Linux. I've done a bit of research and I'm leaning towards Bazzite and Pop!_OS but I'm open to other suggestions. Is Pop!_OS still a good choice after the Cosmic desktop update? My setup includes an AMD 9800X3D CPU and an Nvidia 4080 Super GPU. Any help and recommendations would be appreciated!

Mint is a solid choice for someone new to Linux. It’s user-friendly and you can easily learn what you like as you use it. You can always switch to another distro later if you want. For the shared HDD, I recommend exFAT. It works across both Linux and Windows, but it's not perfect. It's the best option available unless you want to deal with NTFS issues.

Good to know about Mint! How well does it support Nvidia drivers? Are there any limitations with exFAT for file types?
