Hey everyone! I'm looking for recommendations on a tool set for PC building and maintenance. I need a mix of general tools and some specifically for soldering. I've seen a lot of online reviews suggesting the 'iFixit' brand. Has anyone had experience with that, or do you have other suggestions? I plan to use the tools for tasks like building PCs, cleaning out monitors, and doing some light soldering when needed.

A non-magnetic tipped screwdriver is great, plus a pair of tweezers can really help you out when dealing with tiny parts!

Honestly, magnetic screwdrivers aren’t usually strong enough to mess things up, and they can make your life a lot easier!

I got the iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit a while back and I think it's solid quality. It might be a bit pricy just for PC builds, but if you're also planning to do some teardown work, it's definitely worth it.

I have the precision screwdriver kit from iFixit, which is great for working with smaller devices. You might also want to grab some plastic spudgers for those tricky back panels. For PC work, it's smart to have two screwdrivers: a long for easy access and a short for those tight spots. And don’t forget some spare cables ties and a box of assorted screws—they come in handy when you lose some!

Most of us really only need one or two screwdrivers for building a PC—typically a #2 Phillips for the case screws and mounting most coolers. Don’t forget a #0 Phillips for those pesky M.2 screws!

True! And for the more versatile toolkit, a Swiss Army knife might come in handy too.

Totally agree with you! Just keep it simple with those basics.
