Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with my gaming PC. I'm getting a Kernel Error code 41 while playing games like CS2 and Valorant. The computer doesn't shut down right away; it can take 1 to 3 games before it happens, but then it turns off, and I have to hit the power button to turn it back on. Here are my specs: I'm using a Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX V2 motherboard, a used Geforce GTX 3060 Ti (8GB), an AMD Ryzen 5 7600 CPU, and 32GB of DDR5 RAM. My power supply is only 550W, and honestly, I have no clue how long I've had it. I'm starting to think it might be the power supply causing these issues. I've already updated everything and even wiped my PC, but I'm stumped. What wattage do I need, and what PSU would you recommend?

You might want to look into a decent PSU like the Montech Century II. It’s reliable and has good ratings. Also, you should consider limiting the power draw on your GPU or even trying to undervolt it if you're comfortable with that. Kernel Error 41 can be tricky—it doesn't always mean your PSU is at fault. Sometimes it could be something else, like your RAM or connections. Just something to think about as you troubleshoot!

It sounds like a PSU issue might be likely given your symptoms. But just to cover all bases, have you checked all your connections? Sometimes loose cables can create instability too. You should definitely take a look at quality PSUs with at least 600W to ensure you have some headroom. What's your budget for a new PSU?

Which country are you from? That could help in finding the best local options for power supplies.
