My laptop has completely stopped turning on, and since it's still under warranty, the company has advised me to send it in for repair. I'm feeling uneasy because everything is logged in, and I only have a pin to access my Windows user account. I'm worried they could easily bypass that. Is there anything I can do to protect my data before sending it in, considering I can't even turn the laptop on?

You're probably overthinking it! Repair centers deal with a ton of laptops, so they don’t have time to mess with yours in that way. But if it makes you feel better, just back up any important stuff first.
