What programming languages should I focus on as a beginner?

I'm a beginner coder in 9th grade and have some knowledge of HTML and basic Python. I'm considering a career in tech, especially in AI or machine learning, if those fields are still relevant in the future. I'm a bit lost on where to start. Which programming languages should I focus on to build a strong foundation? Any recommendations for roadmaps or courses, whether paid or free?

Since you already know HTML, consider learning CSS and JavaScript next for website development. Python is also great for AI and machine learning because it comes with a ton of useful libraries. Remember, it's important not to get too attached to one language, as different projects may require different tools. Just keep practicing and you might find switching between languages becomes easier!

That sounds like good advice! Starting with web development makes sense.
