What RAM should I get for my new PC build?

I recently finished building my first PC but had to stretch my budget a bit, resulting in me using my old 16 GB Corsair Vengeance 5200 MT CL 40 DDR5 RAM. Now that I've got some extra funds, I'm looking to upgrade. Should I stick with the same model I have, or should I get a 2x16 GB CL 30 6000 MHz RAM instead? I plan to use my PC for 1440p video editing and gaming, and I often multitask with numerous Chrome tabs and programs like Photoshop and Wondershare. My budget is under $90, and I'm not interested in any RGB lighting! Here are my current specs: Ryzen 5 7600, Asrock 9070 XT, 16 GB RAM, Ant Esport Air 211 case, Cooler Master Hyper 212 Spectrum v3 cooler, Cooler Master Gold v2 750w PSU, and MSI B650M Gaming WiFi motherboard.

You’ve got a couple of solid options! I recommend checking out these choices on PCPartPicker. If you can save a bit more, a 64GB kit would be a power move, especially for video editing. Otherwise, the Team Group 32GB at around $89.99 is a great deal, and the Silicon Power 32GB kit is also decent and budget-friendly. It really depends on how much you plan to multitask!

64GB might be overkill for some tasks, but if you’re doing serious video editing, it could be worthwhile. I'd definitely go for the CL-30 6000 MHz RAM if you can swing it; that’ll give you a nice performance boost!
