I'm looking to upgrade my RAM from 16GB (2x8GB) to 32GB, and I've got another 16GB (2x8GB) available from a friend. However, after checking my Task Manager, I realized I only have 2 slots. Since I can't use the additional 16GB, I'm wondering what specific RAM I should purchase for my H410M H V2 motherboard. I've seen a few options on Amazon, but I'm unsure which would be the best fit. Should I just opt for the cheapest option? Also, is going for 64GB a waste of money, or is there a scenario where that makes sense?

You should look for a 2 x 16GB kit with at least 3000MHz CL18 speed. DDR4 prices are really reasonable these days, so you should find a good deal.
It really comes down to what you do with your computer. If you're into gaming, 32GB is plenty, and most of the time, 16GB is still adequate for basic tasks like web browsing. For heavy tasks like video editing or running virtual machines, then 64GB could be necessary. However, for general gaming, you probably won't need more than 32GB.
I’m focusing on gaming after I finish uni, not the highest-end stuff, but I usually have a ton of tabs open in Firefox.
Just a heads up that a lower CL rating is better, so keep an eye on that when shopping!
