I recently received a bunch of password and email reset requests for accounts like Riot and Epic Games. I have two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled, so I wasn't too worried. However, when I started my computer today, I saw that my secondary email was signed out. After logging in, it showed some suspicious activity and a new login location. When I tried to access my Riot and Epic Games accounts, I realized my passwords were incorrect, which made me think I had been hacked. I've managed to recover my accounts, but I'm concerned about whether the hacker still has access. What steps should I take now?

Think about what you were doing right before the hack. Did you download any weird software, or enter info into any suspicious popups? If you reuse passwords, it’s possible you were breached through a leak. You need to track down where the issue came from to really secure your accounts. If you're still in doubt, consider doing a clean install of your OS as a last resort!
First things first, you need to figure out how your accounts got compromised in the first place. Common reasons include reusing passwords, falling for phishing scams, or accidentally downloading malware. Make sure to change your passwords immediately, enable 2FA if you haven’t already, and log out any suspicious devices from your accounts. Tackling the root cause is key!
It's very likely that the hacker has access to your email as well. Check for any suspicious activity there, and consider changing your email password too, just to cover all bases.
If you think you downloaded something shady, running some antivirus scans is definitely a good move. Just to be safe!
