I recently had to replace my broken CPU with a new one, but it's the exact same model. Since everything else is the same, do I need to do anything special to my PC after this swap?

You shouldn't need to do anything special. Just make sure to reinstall the CPU cooler properly, and it should fire up without any issues!
Sounds good! Just remember to clean off the old thermal paste and apply a new layer when you put the cooler back on.
