I accidentally left my phone in a Lyft driver's car. After I got home and realized what happened, I couldn't reach him or Lyft for help. I managed to track my phone and went to retrieve it, but the driver had it connected to his laptop. When I checked, my phone was showing a black screen with two iPhone icons overlapping, which makes me think he was trying to hack into it. I need help on how to get out of this screen. I've tried holding the power button and various button combinations but nothing's working. What can I do?

It sounds like the driver was more likely trying to erase your phone to sell it rather than actually hacking it. You can connect your phone to a computer to erase it and then restore it from your iCloud backup. That should help you regain access!
Don't worry too much; iPhones are pretty secure. Unless he knows your password, your data is safe. I just wanted to help ease your mind a bit!
Thank you! I appreciate your reassurance!
