Hey everyone! I'm completely new to the job market and honestly, I don't have any significant skills or experience yet. I'm planning to dedicate the next six months to learning something that could help me earn money online in the future. I only have a basic phone to work with, so I'm curious about what skills I should focus on and what is realistic to achieve in such a short time. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I suggest focusing on problem-solving skills first. Instead of trying to learn a language or framework straight away, get comfortable tackling smaller problems; it’s more valuable in the long run!

Honestly, learning effectively on a phone is tough, especially without access to libraries or any additional resources. But if that's your only option, look for mobile-friendly learning platforms to maximize your time!

Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely look into mobile-friendly resources.

Have you thought about combining part-time work with your learning? It could help you gain some experience while still allowing you to pick up new skills.

I recommend picking up "The C Programming Language" by Kernighan and Ritchie. It’s a solid foundation; you can work through it steadily over six months, and that could give you a decent start in programming!

Just a heads-up, it’s going to be a challenge to become job-ready in six months with just a phone. You might want to save up for a laptop or at least a device that allows you to access web tools and coding environments. Without that, it'd be tough to create something truly worthwhile in such a short time.
