I lost my iPhone, and I regret not having the 'Find My' feature activated. I'm not too concerned about recovering the device itself, but I'm worried that someone might access my personal information since it's password protected. If I remove my iPhone from iCloud, will that prevent anyone from receiving my messages or viewing my photos if they manage to unlock the device? Also, is it possible for someone to wipe and reuse my phone given that 'Find My' wasn't enabled? Thanks for any guidance!

Definitely don’t remove your iPhone from your iCloud account! Keeping it listed there means it’s harder for someone to access your data. Marking it as lost would be ideal, but since 'Find My' isn’t enabled, you won’t have that option. Stay cautious!
They would need to know your passcode to access your phone, but there’s a catch. Someone could connect it to a computer to erase it and set it up as a new device. You might want to contact your carrier to blacklist it, which would prevent it from being used on their network, but that’s about it.
