I'm a software/web developer working for a small company where I maintain a site built with React and a Python backend. The deployment process is manual, and there's no CMS involved—everything is coded from scratch. I'm considering branching out into freelance work and realized that my current approach isn't the most efficient for building client sites. I'd like to offer clients some control over their content, which is where something like WordPress comes in handy. What tools do you guys use that allow for quicker iterations and deployments? Is it mainly about using a CMS and a host? How do I deal with not having full control over the coding process when working with a CMS? What does your tech stack typically look like? I'd love to hear your insights!

For basic static sites, I go with Hugo paired with DecapCMS and host it on Netlify. But I’m actually considering moving away from DecapCMS and Netlify due to some personal preferences about hosting. Just wanted to keep things aligned with my local context. It's interesting to think about how location can affect your choices in tools.
