I'm looking to upgrade my gaming PC but I'm not sure where to start. My current setup includes an RTX 3060 Ti GPU, an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, a Be Quiet Pure Power 11 600W PSU, a 2TB M.2 SSD, an ASRock B450M Pro4 motherboard, and 32GB of Adata XPG Gammix D35 RAM. I can't upgrade my motherboard right now since it would require buying new RAM, but I'm eager to play AAA games at 1440p or even 4K if I can manage it within my budget of €1,100. My parents are also planning to gift me a new monitor, so that part of the expense is covered. Any advice on what to upgrade?

If you're aiming for 4K at max settings, you might have to scale back expectations a bit. 1440p at max settings can definitely be achieved with some upgrading. You can either go for a budget option where you just update BIOS and keep your current setup, or a pricier option to switch to Intel for better upgrade paths.
You might find a 5500X3D on AliExpress for around €150. Pair that with an RTX 5070 for around €650 if you prefer NVIDIA, or a 9070 XT if you want to try AMD. A new PSU in the 750-850W range would only set you back an additional €100-110, which fits into your budget nicely.
I suggest looking at a Ryzen 5800X or even consider a 3D chip if you're up for it. Upgrading to a new GPU like the RTX 5070 or the 9070 XT would significantly boost your gaming experience. Just keep in mind that if you stick with AM4, you might miss out on some future upgrades.
What case are you using right now? The size could limit your GPU choices. Also, are you still using the stock AMD cooler? If so, upgrading to an aftermarket one might be necessary depending on your new CPU choice.
With a €1,100 budget, consider upgrading your GPU first. A 7800 XT would deliver excellent performance for 1440p gaming. If you're feeling adventurous, the 9070 XT paired with a new 700W PSU could be a great investment for future-proofing, leaving you with some budget leftover as well. This way, once RAM prices drop, you can look into switching to AM5 later on.

I'm using an Enermax StarryFort sf30 case and a Be Quiet Dark Rock Slim cooler.
