What Upgrades Should I Consider for My Gaming Setup?

I've got a system with a Ryzen 5 5600 (non-X), an RX 6800, 32GB of RAM, a 2TB NVMe drive, and I'm running a 24-inch 1080p 144Hz monitor alongside another basic monitor for multitasking. I play a lot of competitive games like Valorant and Fortnite, and I also enjoy single-player titles such as RDR2 and Fallout. I'm really into the Resident Evil series and I'm looking forward to the upcoming Requiem. So, given my setup and gaming preferences, what upgrades should I consider?

A good upgrade for your setup could be the Ryzen 5700X3D. It’ll pair nicely with your current hardware. Just make sure to check if it fits within your budget!

Yeah, the 5700X3D does seem like a solid choice!

Your current setup is pretty strong! The RX 6800 is great for 4K gaming. If you're looking to enhance multitasking, consider upgrading to the Ryzen 9 5900X; it will help with heavier workloads, though gaming performance won't be drastically different from what you have.

But isn’t the 5900X more for heavy multitasking? You won't need that unless you're running something really demanding in the background.

Do you really need an upgrade, or is it just a want? The combo of Ryzen 5600 and RX 6800 is already great for 1080p at 144Hz, so you might be good as is!

I want an upgrade, mainly just to boost performance a bit.
