I recently bought a PC off Facebook, but I've noticed it's struggling to run newer titles. I'm looking to make some upgrades, and my budget is around $500. I was thinking about getting an Intel i5-14600KF and a Z790 Aorus Elite motherboard, but I'm not sure if there's a better or cheaper option. Here are my current specs:

- CPU: i5-9400F
- Motherboard: B365M PRO-4F
- RAM: Vengeance Pro DDR4 3200
- GPU: RTX 3050 8GB
- Storage: Samsung 990 PRO 1TB
- PSU: Corsair CX750
- Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow

Before making any upgrades, you might want to consider how much RAM you have and the speed. Since your motherboard can only run RAM up to 2666MHz, that's a limit. You already have a 1TB m.2 SSD for storage, which is great! If you want a significant boost, switching to an AMD AM4 motherboard could give you room for growth. Just know that your GPU is getting a bit outdated, and upgrading it can be pricey, especially with the next-gen Intel cards expected soon.

Your build seems solid for starters! If you're experiencing long load times, adding another 1TB SSD could help a lot. But if you're dealing with textures or FPS issues, looking into a GPU upgrade like a 4060 or even a 3070 might be worthwhile. Also, if you only have 8GB of RAM, upgrading that should be a priority. What games are you trying to play?

Honestly, the biggest bottleneck right now might be your GPU. Consider saving up for a better graphics card, as upgrading it will likely yield noticeable performance improvements.
