I used to have a rig with an RTX 2080 and a Ryzen 5 5600x, which was capable of hitting 300 FPS while playing CS at 1080p. Recently, I upgraded to dual 1440P monitors, but now I'm seeing a significant drop in frame rates, averaging around 160 FPS even at low settings. CS is basically the only game I play, so I'm looking for the best hardware upgrades given that I have an AM4 motherboard. I'm considering going for a 5080. Should I wait for the AM6 and 60 series GPUs, or do you have other upgrade suggestions? Thanks!

I’ve heard great things about CS2 performing well with AMD CPUs, especially the ones with 3D V-cache like the 5700X3D. Might be worth looking into upgrading to that if you're feeling adventurous!
Honestly, if you wait for the 60 series, you'll probably be waiting at least two years; that could be a long haul for your gaming needs!
I'm considering an upgrade to AM5 with a 9800X3D too, but that means changing my RAM and motherboard, which seems like a hassle. Plus, the stuttering during gameplay with the new monitor is really annoying me.
