Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on upgrading my PC, which I built back in 2020. Lately, it seems to be struggling, especially with gaming. I can't even get Marvel Spider-Man 2 to run, and Tekken 8 keeps crashing during fights. My current setup meets the minimum and recommended specs, but it's just not cutting it. Plus, I'm having trouble using the new features in Adobe Photoshop 2025, which is the main software I rely on. Here's my current build:
- AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
- ASUS B550M
- 16GB Kingston HyperX RAM (3000MHz)
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER (6GB)
I was thinking about upgrading to an RTX 5070, but I'm not sure if that's the best choice for a balanced build. My budget for upgrades is around €500. I'd really appreciate any recommendations, and I promise to reward you with a cookie!

What resolution do you usually game at? Knowing that could help tailor recommendations. If you're playing at 1080p, an upgrade could significantly help. But if you're getting a new monitor and want to aim for 1440p, think about a GPU that can handle those graphics!
If you're on a budget, consider getting a Ryzen 5 5600X paired with an RTX 3060, especially the model with higher VRAM. It'll give you a solid performance boost without breaking the bank. Just check if your B550 motherboard needs a BIOS update to support the 5600X. Good luck!

I usually play at 1080p, but I'm considering a new monitor. If I can get a decent GPU for 1440p gaming within my budget, that would be awesome!
