Hey everyone! I'm looking to update the BIOS and install Windows 11 on my new PC, but I'm unsure about which USB drives to purchase. I plan to buy two USBs, one for each task. I heard that a USB 2.0 might be ideal for the BIOS update, but I'm not clear on what read/write speeds are recommended. Also, for Windows 11, should I use USB 3.0, 1.0, or 2.0, and what speeds should I be aiming for? I'd appreciate any recommendations or advice! Thanks!

For a BIOS update, you really don’t need anything fancy. BIOS files are tiny, so any decent, cheap USB should do the trick. For the Windows installation, speed won’t be a limiting factor either, so just grab whatever is reasonably priced and known brand. Sandisk, Kingston, and Samsung are always solid choices!
Thanks a lot! Do you have any specific recommendations for a USB stick for the Windows 11 installation?
