I'm building a new PC and I'm trying to decide on the right wattage for my power supply. Here's what I have so far: an MSI MAG X870 Tomahawk motherboard, a RYZEN 7 9800X3D CPU, and a GTX 3060 GPU. Should I go with an 850W or a 1000W power supply? Any suggestions?

You really only need around 550W to 750W, but an 850W would give you some extra room for future upgrades. If you think you might get a more powerful GPU later, that’d be the way to go.
Honestly, 550W would work for now, but 850W is more than enough, and 1000W is probably overkill unless you're planning something big.
Also, just a thought—your CPU and GPU are a bit mismatched. You might want to consider investing more in your GPU down the line!
If you're unsure, I'd recommend getting a 1000W power supply. It’s going to last longer than your build, and GPUs are becoming more power-hungry these days.
