What’s a Fair Price for My PC with a 5800X3D?

Hey everyone! I'm considering selling my current PC to upgrade and I need some guidance. My setup includes a 5800X3D CPU, a Gigabyte 1070 GPU, and 32GB of RAM along with some other random components that aren't particularly noteworthy. I checked PCPartPicker and it suggests a value of €460 when bought new, but that feels a bit low to me, especially since I'm in Europe. What do you think would be a reasonable selling price for my setup? Thanks and happy holidays!

I recently checked some eBay listings, and just the CPU can go for around €450. Considering your whole setup, you might aim for between €600-800, especially if it’s in good condition. Someone else mentioned that they sold theirs for a decent price, so it shouldn't be hard to get a fair amount for it.

Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend upgrading your entire platform just yet. You can get a new GPU and make your current system last longer. The 5800X3D is still a powerhouse. With the prices of DDR5, it's worth sticking with what you have for now.

I think your PC is solid and could fetch around €400-600 depending on the case, power supply, and storage. Just keep in mind the GPU is a bit of a weak link in this setup. It might limit your maximum selling price.

Instead of selling the whole system, have you thought about just upgrading your GPU? You have a great CPU and plenty of RAM. You could potentially get a better GPU and keep your current setup running smoothly without going through the hassle of selling everything.
