What’s a Good 850W Power Supply for My PC Build?

I'm in the process of building my PC and I'm on the lookout for a reliable 850W power supply unit (PSU). I've come across a few options including the Adata XPG Core Reactor II VE for €92, the Lian Li Edge Gold for €115, the Corsair RM850e for €114, and the 1stPlayer NGDP for €103. I also found the Montech Century II for just €89, but it's no longer available here for under €200. Are any of these PSUs worth considering, or should I go for something else instead? I'd prefer if the PSU had sleeved cables to save me from spending extra on cable extensions, but it's not a must-have.

First off, are you sure you really need an 850W PSU? I just picked up a Corsair 750W myself for a high-end setup with an AM4 5900XT and a 4070 Super. A good tip is to check out PCPartPicker, which can help you estimate your power requirements based on your build.

If you're planning on upgrading in the future, having an 850W PSU could be a smart choice. Power demands are only going up, and a good PSU will last a long time — plus, Corsair's RMx series comes with a 10-year warranty!
