What’s a Good GPU Upgrade for My System?

I'm looking to upgrade my GPU after having built my PC about two years ago. Here are my specs:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800x
- Current GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 Ti
- Motherboard: Rog Strix B550-F Gaming WiFi II

I want a GPU that has ray tracing capabilities and won't break the bank. Any recommendations?

When you say you want it to have ray tracing, remember that both AMD and Nvidia have options. Cards in the RX 6000, 7000, and 9000 series from AMD and the RTX series from Nvidia (2000-5000) all support ray tracing. Can you share your budget and what games you're planning to play? Are you thinking about upgrading to 1440p as well?

My budget is around $500, maybe a bit more if needed. I mainly play games like Minecraft with shaders, Doom Eternal, Dark Ages, Elden Ring, and GTA.

Honestly, I wouldn't upgrade unless you're looking at something like a 5070 Ti. Transitioning from a 3060 Ti to that would make the upgrade feel worthwhile.
