I've been using a 3060 for a while now, but I'm starting to feel like it's not keeping up anymore. I'm curious about what would be a good GPU upgrade. I'm planning to pair it with an R5 5600x CPU and aim for 1440p gaming. My budget for the GPU is around $300 to $500, and I'm open to upgrading my PSU if necessary. Any suggestions?

It really depends on a few factors like the games you play and the resolution you're targeting. Since you're looking at 1440p, and with that budget, I'd recommend considering either the 5060 Ti or the 5070. If you're willing to upgrade the PSU, the 5070 would be a significant improvement for that resolution. Just a heads up, there might be Super versions coming soon, which could be worth waiting for too.

You might want to check out lossless scaling if you haven't yet—it's a great tool to really help with older cards, but for you looking to upgrade, the 5070 sounds like a strong contender.

Yeah, lossless scaling is amazing! I've heard it can seriously enhance performance.

With that budget, I'd say a 5060 Ti or the 5070 will give you a nice boost in performance for 1440p. Also, if you're upgrading your PSU, that'd set you up for a good jump in power!

Definitely share what games you're targeting and what monitor setup you have! For the budget you provided, the 5060 Ti with 16GB or the 5070, if you can find it below $500, would be solid choices. Just also consider any potential bottlenecks with your current system.
