I'm planning to save up for a new PC because my old one isn't cutting it anymore. Can anyone suggest a solid build within the $300 to $500 range? I'd really appreciate the help!

Honestly, for that kind of budget, you might be better off just picking up a used computer. With RAM prices skyrocketing these days, you'll blow your entire budget just on that component alone.
If you want to build a PC, I suggest aiming for a used system instead. You could look for something around $200-$300 and upgrade it with any spare cash you have left over, focusing on a better power supply and storage first.
At this price point, it might make more sense to invest in a console instead. You could get a PlayStation 5 for a much better gaming experience without the hassle of building a PC.
I've been using my Xbox since my PC struggles with games, so maybe saving more for a better setup makes sense.

I didn’t realize RAM was so pricey, but thanks for the heads-up! I'll definitely consider it.
