What’s a Good uBlock Origin Alternative for Chrome?

Hey everyone! So, we used to have uBlock Origin on Chrome, but since it got disabled, we've been hit with a lot of Drive-By-Downloading alerts. I'm considering switching to Privacy Badger since I'm a fan of the EFF, but is there a more effective alternative out there? I prefer Privacy Badger for my personal setup, where I use it alongside Ghostery or Brave Shields. I'm particularly looking for something to combat malvertising effectively. Any suggestions?

You might want to check out uBlock Origin Lite. It’s got a different approach but still seems to work well for many users out there.

uBlock Origin Lite can be really effective if you use the "optimal" setting. Just keep in mind that you can’t manually block sites anymore, which was something I used to like for avoiding social media distractions at work.

I switched to Edge for work since it still supports uBlock Origin. Plus, Microsoft tends to prioritize other aspects of their business over advertising, so it feels safer.

Have you tried any DNS-level ad blocking solutions? Those can be pretty effective at filtering out ads and malware before they even reach your browser.
