What’s Causing My Son’s Computer to Randomly Shut Down?

I'm trying to diagnose an issue with my son's computer. It operates normally for a period, then unexpectedly shuts down. When we attempt to power it back on, the chassis fan runs briefly before stopping, and the display shows no signal. The peripheral devices get power but don't fully turn on. I consider myself a bit of a nerd with decent tech skills, so here's what I've done so far: I've swapped out the power supply, replaced the CMOS battery, reseated the graphics card, tried booting with integrated graphics, and tested the RAM with just one stick. So far, I've managed to get it to boot a couple of times by reseating the GPU or swapping RAM, and it ran fine for an hour or two, even passing benchmarks, before it suddenly powered off and returned to its old issues. I'm completely stumped and could use some help!

First, have you checked the temperatures? Sometimes overheating can cause shutdowns. Also, is the AIO pump functioning properly? It’s worth seeing if there are any useful error messages in the system logs. If you can, sharing a list of the components could help too!

I didn't notice any temperature issues during testing. The pump seems to work. My son got the PC used, so I can share the specs whenever I check again!
