I'm having an issue with my HP laptop where the Windows key seems to be stuck and is always activated even when I'm not pressing it. I've tried uninstalling drivers and disabling startup applications, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone encountered this problem? What else can I try?

Honestly, if all else fails, the easiest route might just be to buy a replacement keyboard. There are usually videos online specific to your laptop model that show how to install a new one. Just be careful with the disassembly!
It sounds like a hardware issue rather than a software one. Have you tried cleaning the keyboard? Sometimes, debris gets stuck under the keys and can cause them to act like they’re being pressed. You could try turning off your laptop, flipping it upside down, and lightly tapping it to see if anything falls out. A can of compressed air can also help to blow out any particles stuck under the keys. If that doesn’t work, it might be time to consider replacing the keyboard.
I had a similar problem once and it turned out to be a hardware issue. I ended up unplugging the keyboard from the motherboard and plugging it back in, and that solved the problem for me. Just make sure to follow proper steps if you decide to do that!
