What’s the Best API for Social Media Analytics?

I'm building a social media analytics platform and have been experimenting with a few APIs like Apify and Data365. With Apify, I found myself testing several actors to find one that truly met my needs, but I often faced frustrating random errors. On the other hand, Data365 has been pretty reliable so far and gathers a large volume of data, though it's been noted that its API response speed could be improved. I've also heard some things about Bright Data having restrictive limitations. Has anyone here tried these options or any other alternatives? I'd love to hear your thoughts on their pricing, reliability, and scalability.

I've used Apify before, but I found the whole 'actors' thing pretty confusing. I didn't really understand if they were all part of the same platform or if they were third-party additions. Data365 surprised me; it worked quite well, although it can be slow when processing large datasets. Still saves me time since I don't have to clean and format the data too much. Bright Data seems overpriced to me for what it offers, especially with the proxy issues I faced during API calls.

I ended up selecting Data365 for my project. The pricing is in the range of €300 to €850 per month, depending on your usage. We've been using it for about three months now, handling around 250-400k posts daily without any problems at all!

Haven't personally tried Data365, but I've been hearing about it more lately. I've been working with Apify for over a year, and although it takes some effort to find reliable actors, it’s decent once you figure it out. Just remember that the learning curve is worth it if you find the right tools.

Last year, I needed to pull data for a social monitoring project, and it took me a couple of weeks to test different APIs. I narrowed it down to Data365 and Vetric. Data365 stood out because one request brings everything like posts and comments, while with Vetric, it was annoying having to make multiple requests for profile data. Data365 is more expensive per request, but since you do fewer requests, it balances out. I'd say both are solid options worth checking out!

Thanks for sharing! It sounds like Data365 might be the way to go since I need to manage a lot of data efficiently.
