Hey everyone! I'm an experienced Data Analytics manager with nine years under my belt, mainly working with tools like Alteryx, SQL, and Python. I'm eager to dive into cloud-based analytics, specifically Azure, and I'm curious about the best certification path to take. I was thinking of starting with AZ-900, then DP-900, and finally DP-203. Is this a good approach? I'd also love recommendations for study resources since I'm quite new to Azure. Thanks for any guidance you can provide!

Actually, DP-203 is retired now, so you'll want to focus on AZ-900 first, then DP-900. These are more manageable, especially for those without extensive experience in Azure. For study materials, definitely check out the Microsoft Certification Hub for both AZ-900 and DP-900. Remember, higher certs expect you to already have some hands-on experience with Azure products, which can be tough otherwise.
That certification path makes a lot of sense with your background! I suggest starting with AZ-900 to familiarize yourself with Azure terminologies, then moving on to DP-900. For preparation, Microsoft Learn is a great resource, as well as John Savill's YouTube videos—they're really easy to follow!
If you're just starting with Azure, I recommend beginning with the DP-900. After that, you can jump to Fabric with the DP-600 certification. If you're interested in data engineering afterwards, consider looking into DP-700 too. These will align well with your background in data.
