I'm looking to upgrade my old 9th gen Intel setup to a Ryzen 7600 and I need recommendations for a budget-friendly motherboard. I hope to eventually move up to a 9800x3d or a Zen 6 x3d variant, so I want a board that can handle that. The price of the Ryzen 5 7600 is much better here than the 9600, and while I can't afford a 7800x3d right now, I can stretch my budget a bit for a decent motherboard. I'll mainly be using my PC for gaming and video editing.

For a budget build, I'd suggest steering clear of Asrock for now. A basic B-series motherboard will do the trick, even if it has slightly less impressive VRM cooling. Just make sure to check reviews and choose based on the I/O ports you need. Generally, you won’t see much of a performance boost with X-series boards, so a B-series should suffice. Gigabyte and MSI are reliable options I've had good experiences with.
I recently picked up an MSI Pro B650-A, which is highly rated in Germany for its price (around 150€) and has excellent VRM quality without any over-the-top gaming aesthetics. It's basically a B650 Tomahawk with a different heatsink and color, making it a solid choice for your setup.
