Most modern CPUs should handle 1440p gaming well. Even older ones like the Ryzen 5 5600 or Intel i5-12400 can perform nicely with your GPU. However, for video editing, if you plan to do it professionally, aim for a CPU with a higher core count to make your workflow smoother. More cores help with rendering and multitasking.
For now, I'll focus on creating personal YouTube content, which is what I'm currently doing. I want to improve my videos over time. I use Camtasia for my editing.
