I've been using a GTX 1060 for the last ten years and really want to upgrade as I'm trying to run modded Skyrim, but I'm only getting about 40 fps a lot of the time. I'm looking to spend up to $500 and found an RTX 5070 for around $480. Is this a good deal? Should I go for that or am I just wasting my money? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

The RTX 5070 is a solid choice for that price point. However, if you can stretch your budget just a little, consider the RX 9070 XT, which generally performs better and is usually priced around $600. It's definitely worth investigating!
Good point! The 5070 is a great card and you might find refurbished options close to your budget. But if gaming is your main concern, the 9070 XT offers more bang for your buck, especially for regular gaming.
