What’s the Best Laptop for Gaming on a Budget?

I'm looking for a new laptop since my old Toshiba Satellite C55DT-A5306 is nearing the end of its life. I mostly play simple games like Happy Wheels and Team Fortress 2 on medium graphics settings. I just need a SATA port so I can easily transfer my hard drive from the old laptop to the new one. My budget is between $200 and $300. Also, just to clarify, I'm not considering ThinkPads at all.

Honestly, ThinkPads are usually recommended for durability and performance, but I get it if you're not into them. For your budget, have you checked out the Lenovo Ideapad? It might fit your needs well!

If you're not comfortable repairing laptops and not considering Thinkpads, I'd suggest looking into some budget-friendly Acer or HP models. Just make sure they have the SATA port, and you should be good to go!

Yeah, HP has some decent laptops in that range that should handle your gaming needs without a hitch!
