I'm looking for a Linux distro that's lightweight, secure, and easy to use, especially focused on saving battery life. It should be suitable for modern systems and somewhat similar to Windows 10 or 11. Since I'm a college student, minimizing bloat is crucial. Any recommendations?

You might want to check out Mint with the XFCE edition. It's pretty user-friendly and has good performance on modern hardware.

I've been using Mint with the Cinnamon desktop. Is the XFCE version different in terms of usability?
