I recently built a mini PC, about the size of a small brick, equipped with an R5 3550H processor and 16GB of RAM running at 2400 MT/s. This setup is meant for my trading algorithms, which are pretty basic, but I actually have 17 of them running on various accounts. Each account needs around 700MB of RAM, and my goal is to run up to 10 of these accounts simultaneously. Unfortunately, running Windows 11 has been a nightmare—despite disabling almost everything, my PC still lags and stutters. I use cTrader for my trading, which only supports Windows and macOS, leaving Linux out of the picture. I need a solution that allows Windows to run efficiently, utilizing as little RAM as possible so my algorithms can perform smoothly without any hiccups. I already noticed that just opening one app can halve my RAM usage, and I need to squeeze out more performance than this!

Maybe you could think about upgrading your RAM later on? I know you're only using 2 accounts at this time, but having 32GB down the line would definitely help when you scale up!
Have you considered Tiny11? I used it on my laptop and it worked really well. I've seen some comparison videos and it seems to save a lot of memory, so it might be just what you need!
Just a quick check—are you running Windows from an SSD? It can make a difference, but I get why you're worried about the heavy RAM usage. Losing 5GB to Windows is a lot if you're running multiple accounts and bots!
You might want to check out a lightweight version of Windows, like the debloated versions made by the community, such as what Chris Titus Tech offers. These can really help with performance. If you're open to it, I heard Linux can also run Windows apps using Wine, but I'm not sure how smooth it would be for your setup.
