I've recently switched from Windows 11 Pro to Windows 11 Home since my activation key expired, and now I want to set up a dual boot with Linux. I'm a complete beginner and not really comfortable using the command line. Ideally, I want a Linux experience that feels somewhat similar to Windows 11, as the activation watermark in Windows is quite annoying. Can anyone suggest a user-friendly Linux version and guide me on how to set it up?

Linux Mint is often recommended for folks transitioning from Windows because it has a Windows-like interface and is easy to use. It works well right out of the box, so you won’t need to adjust too many settings. I've also heard good things about Zorin OS, which I haven't tried myself, but it's designed similarly and user-friendly for beginners.

Zorin has a great user interface that resembles Windows quite a bit. It's easy for newcomers, with a layout that feels familiar. However, it can be a bit less responsive than Mint because of its animations and design tweaks. If you’re not looking to tweak your system much, Zorin could be a solid choice!
