Hey everyone! I'm building my first PC and I've set a budget between $650 and $815 (or 200 to 250 KWD). I'm looking to use it for gaming, coding, video editing, and some 3D work, so I need a solid setup. Here are my ideas for the components so far:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 5 7500F
- **GPU**: I'm considering either the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 8GB, Intel Arc B580, or AMD RX 9060 XT 8GB.
- **RAM**: I'm thinking about 16GB—should I get two 8GB sticks or one 16GB stick?
- **PSU**: I'm not sure yet, but I was thinking about something around 650W. Any recommendations for good brands?
- **Storage**: 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD from WD.
- **Cooler**: No idea what to choose here!
Also, I'm looking for a decent monitor within the $130 or 40 KWD range. Any suggestions would really help! Thanks!

Your GPU and CPU choices are solid, but I suggest looking for used options to stretch your budget. You could potentially grab a 3070 TI which should deliver great performance for gaming and tasks you mentioned. If you can, cut back on the RAM initially and add more later if necessary.
With the current price fluctuations in your country, I’d consider local shops for a more stable price than online. It can make a big difference!
Definitely go for a socket type that can fit DDR4. In terms of motherboards, if you're looking at a B650 chipset, that's a great choice! I’d also recommend checking out brands like MSI or ASUS for reliable options. As for coolers, any decent aftermarket cooler will work better than stock.
You might want to keep an eye on RAM prices—they've shot up recently. As for your GPU and CPU choices, if the budget allows, they should work well for what you plan to do. Also, consider a DDR4 setup if you haven't already; you can find some decent options on the used market that can save you a lot.
I know right? RAM is just insane right now! But if you find a good deal on a used GPU, it might actually free up some budget for other parts. Good luck!
Thanks! I'm still not sure though; I'd prefer to avoid used parts if possible.

That could work! I just have to see if the person I'm building for is okay with a used GPU.
