Hey everyone! I have an Acer TC 1760 prebuilt PC with an i5 12400F and a GTX 1650. Currently, it has one Samsung RAM stick with the following specs: S01Q0W030735DBBE50, 8GB 1AX8 PC4-3200AA UA2 - 11, M378A1K43EB2-CWE. I mainly play games like Fortnite, Rocket League, and Star Wars Battlefront II, and I also run some university programs on it. I'm looking to upgrade the RAM and would like some advice. Would it be better to go for two 8GB DDR5 sticks, or two 16GB DDR4 sticks, or perhaps a different combination? Thanks for any help!

You should definitely check out Crucial for RAM options! They'll help you find the right upgrades for your specific system. Just a heads up, your PC only supports DDR4 RAM, so DDR5 won't work at all. When upgrading RAM in prebuilt systems, it's a good idea to stick with the same brand and specs as your existing stick to avoid compatibility issues. Do some research to see what others with the same model have had success with!
Just a friendly reminder that your Acer TC 1760 only takes DDR4 RAM, so you can't go for DDR5 at all. Be mindful that prebuilt PCs are sometimes picky about RAM compatibility. Check online to see what setups others have successfully used with the same build. It might save you some hassle!
Thanks a lot! That makes it easier to narrow down my options.
Thanks for the heads up, I appreciate it! Just trying to make sure I get the best performance.
