I just finished building my PC and got everything set up, but I ran into a problem trying to play the new Doom. It told me my current GPU, an RX 580 8GB, doesn't support ray tracing. I'm looking for suggestions on the best ray tracing GPU that would work well with my Ryzen 5 5500, ideally something that can handle 3440x1440 resolution. What do you all recommend? Thanks!

Before diving into options, do you have a budget in mind? It can really help narrow it down!

If you're considering AMD, the combination of an AMD GPU with your Ryzen CPU can boost performance thanks to features like Smart Access Memory. Just keep in mind that this isn't exclusive to AMD; it's applicable with different setups too!

Generally speaking, any GPU with "RTX" in the name will support ray tracing. So, you should look for cards from the 2000 series or newer. Depending on your budget, you’ll have several good options.
